Network termination point
Approved Document R: Infrastructure for electronic communications, Volume 1: Physical infrastructure and network connection for new dwellings, 2022 edition, defines a network termination point as: ‘A physical point at which an occupier is provided with access to high-speed electronic communications networks.’
The Scottish Building Standards, Part I. Technical Handbook – Domestic, Appendix A Defined Terms, defines a network termination point as: ‘…a physical point located inside or outside the building at which an occupier is provided with access to high-speed electronic communications networks.’
